How to read a poem

A poem can be read in three steps they are-1.pre-reading activities 2.while reading activities and 3.post reading activities
1.pre-reading activities:Frist one should read the poem throwly,then take a look on the title,what thw title says or bear.then onw should know about the poet such as his birth ,death,when he wrote the poem that mean the period of time.

2.While-reading activities:while reading one should find out the unknown words meaning,then try to analysis and explicate the poem.stanza by stanza,word by word,punchuation everything should know(how to analysis and explicate a poem is given in another page).then try to find out the significance if there have any,such as is the poem literal or metaphorical or symbolic every thing should try to find out.

3.post-reading activities:In this stage one should read the poem again and again and then,once can give there own opinion or make comment on that poem.

Conclution:If we read a poem dividing in this steps it will be easier to realise poem
